New Renaissance Or New Dark Age? A Single Generation Will Decide.   World Party.

A Monumental Historic Undertaking.

Triumph or ruin. A single generation will decide. The Paradigm Shift.
There is no escaping it.

Viewing the future through the eyes of science is an awakening experience. Our ability to extrapolate forward to the next century reveals the undeniable fact that the human race will soon face the historic equivalent of a dash-for-survival.

We have a single generation to decide. Will the coming centuries bring a new renaissance or a new dark age? Shall we end the age of poverty or face sociological decline? Will our future be "Star Trek" or "Soylent Green"? Do the meek inherit the earth or do the not-so-meek ruin it? At this point in human history, it would seem obvious that the aggressively destructive forces have "won" in their determined pursuits of personal power and wealth. The rest of the world, the so-called "have-nots", face a monumental decision. That decision is to radically shift the paradigm of human behavior or hand down a thousand years of ruin to our descendents. It's actually a very simple issue. We must choose either sweeping reforms or sweeping extinctions, and we have perhaps, a single generation to decide.

If we are to cure poverty, then we also must change the current economic paradigm. If we are to put an end to urban sprawl, we must reject the paradigm of manifest destiny and all that it implies in terms of self-serving expansionism. As environmentalist, Edward Abbey once noted: "Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell." If we are to save the biosphere, we must transform the way in which we relate to the natural environment. And if we are to do any of it at all ... we must alter the most basic model of modern government itself. Today, Americans gaze in awe at our natural wonders, proud to live in a nation of such physical beauty. However, most are unaware that in order to save it all from long-range ruin, a revolution in the political arena must occur; and in our own lifetimes.

In the same way that science followed in the footsteps of alchemy on the path to great modern discoveries, the paradigm shift theory comes behind the great democratic thinkers on the path of revealing the long-awaited secrets to the very sustainability of our small shared planet. Once again, humanity lingers at a critical crossroads. We must stop dividing over cultural issues, such as abortion and race, and look into the critical face of the future; as those who must live there gaze back at us.

It is actually quite easy to understand the paradigm shift. Imagine it this way: All of humanity is riding along on the same train that is running along its own well-laid track. The many disciplines of science have combined to tell us, that without doubt, our destination is the twin perils of sociological and environmental decline. All of today's public discussion and news commentary, republican and democratic party marketing, every activist, group, and third party; no matter how 'right', are all part of that single shared ride to ruin. To save planet Earth we must re-direct ourselves onto an entirely different track without actually destroying the train. This is the essence of the paradigm shift.

This section of Common Sense Now offers a brief overview of the vital issues that must be addressed if our global journey is to steer clear of a disastrous end. This area presents an outline of the factors we must address as we shift the paradigm of human behavior. The items that you find here are by no means random. We can prove to anyone that the issues introduced on this page are vital to the cause of the paradigm shift. We can also prove that the Common Sense of America three-part strategy can accomplish it on a global scale.

We call upon all those who wish to see the world united in the cause of legitimate planetary stewardship to participate in our strategy. The first step, both as individuals and collectively, is to take a moment and finding the most useful emotional and intellectual starting point. The context must shift outward. We must move from the big-picture to a more profound and intimate point of view, instead of working from minutiae outward. The first step in this process is to visualize ourselves at a point where we can look back on our world from an absolutely honest and present perspective. How to do this? We must each begin by clearing our minds of all distractions. Hold in your imagination a view of our Earth and everything you have learned about our planet and the collective impact of human behavior. See the blue and white majesty of our shared planet. Imagine that the entire Earth is a child, your child. No loving parent will take chances with a child's health or future. If you can begin to think of our planet as your own child, you can begin to save the future.

The first of three giant steps toward planetary survival will require a shift in four vital paradigms: Education, information, economics, and societal unity. To save America and the global biosphere will require nothing short of a monumental effort and an unprecedented historic undertaking. We are also revealing a political strategy that will allow us to do it, and do it we must; for in the future, our most obsessive debates will be relegated to foot notes as the human train and all aboard face the onset of an environmental and sociological decline lasting for a millennia.

The Paradigm Shift must come.
There is no escaping this fact.

DOMESTIC: The Rules Have Changed, so the Mission Must Evolve.

Harnessing the Internet as a force to change the world.Mission Tools and Strategy.
The setting of the Radical Agenda.

So here we are. Humanity has finally dragged itself out of the cesspool of dictatorships and fiefdoms, formerly known as civilization. We have finally created a democracy designed to provide equal protection under the law for all of its citizens. The problem is that many believe this to be the apex of our accomplishment, the top of the mountain. We're not done yet.

Common Sense holds the understanding, and philosophers would agree, that we have only summited a small hill. From it, we can look back at those following behind and just get a glimpse of the real mountain, the new paradigm of civilization, that waits in the distance. Any scientist, philosopher, theologian or historian will tell you; at best, the present paradigm of consumption and exploitation will hold the human race in a stalemate of political corruption and societal decline. No human being on Earth will deny, that the very best thing we can do for those not yet born is to shift the paradigm to conservation and compassion, so they may inherit a world that welcomes them in justice and benevolence.

The other aspect of it is this: If we do not start moving toward the next great ascent, the paradigm shift; and soon, children born two centuries from today will inherit an irreversible double-disaster. Theirs will be an existence beset by cascading extinctions and a broken ethno-sphere. In the 22nd century, as they look back at us squabbling about things that the media chooses to give air-play; our descendents will tremble with rage at our utter failure to recognize the vital inter-relationship of education, information, economics, and national unity. They will see our society driving a bad paradigm, regardless of fifty years of urgent warnings from science ...

It is not the obligation of Government to be the visionary. That is not its job. As you can see there is no true vision in the political arena. The obligation of our elected leadership is to take your vision and pass it into law; and then enforce that law, even when ruthless special-interests try to circumvent it. Failure to follow this fundamental rule has left us with a compromised political system; which has in turn, led to a compromised economy, society, and environment. We are not simply witnessing, but are driving forward all of these factors.

If we do not address--and even embrace--the difficulties of creating a better nation, the young people of today will live just long enough to witness Mother Nature's payback begin to rip through the living web. If we wish to reach planetary sustainability, we must become a race of people who can and will do it. Only then can average and poor Americans become richer, smarter, provided with first-class information, and extra free time to take those things and make the world a better place.

The first step toward national sustainability will require not only a powerful new 3rd Party, but also, must entail a national outreach campaign on an extensive scale. To accomplish these vital social and political objectives will be hard; however, it will be nowhere near as hard as it would be to spend ten minutes in the 22nd century browsing through the news-of-the-day, especially environmental news that the most recent science reveals will be heartbreaking. While we're facing the truth, let's go a step further. A century from today, it will be common knowledge that the opening generation of the 21st century comprised the 'critical moment' in human history. While they try to figure out what went wrong, future historians will inevitably find themselves pouring over the topics seen on this page.

Let's take a lesson from history. We have learned that if we do not create our own future, we will become victims of a future that someone else will create for us. This process is happening before our very eyes.

You have elected a government and it doesn't work for you. It works against you. As it is, our government has evolved into a private tool used by the rich to make permanent an opportunity to get even richer. The Government who is entrusted with the environment--and thus, the preservation of the biosphere--is failing in this vital obligation.

The data is in. A few generations from today, our most fervent debates will be relegated to irrelevant footnotes. Today, Americans gaze in awe at our natural wonders, while unaware that to save it all from long-range ruin a revolution in the political arena will need to occur. If we are to save the future, we must replace the politicians themselves. There is too little time left and far too much at stake to settle for a government that fails to live up to its most vital obligations. Common Sense has a start-to-finish strategy to get America back on the right track.

Domestic Recovery in a Nation
Where the Rules Have Changed.

The Economic Paradigm and the Redistribution of Wealth.

Who Owns The Money?
This may be the single biggest question "they" don't want you to ask.

Let's step outside of the box we have come to accept as the norm, and take a fresh look at the very idea of national currency.

We have a mosquito-economy. It attacks us voraciously in order to suck out our life's blood from any surface. This phenomenon is not promoted and maintained by any coordinated and deliberate conspiracy, but through a simple and reprehensible 'conspiracy of neglect'.

Consider your nation as a physical body. The forests, streams, and deserts are the skin of the body. Who owns the body? According to our Founding Fathers, The Constitution, The Bill of Rights and the fundamental rules of democracy--"The People" do. That was easy, because it is the response we have been taught since we were children.

If the body is owned by The People, then the "skin" belongs to The People. If the body is owned by The People, so is the "blood." So who owns the money? U.S. currency, in all its forms, is the blood of the body. The American People--collectively--own the money. You own a piece of every U.S. dollar, no matter where in the world it exists or what form it takes. You own a piece of every transaction involving a U.S. dollar wherever it occurs on the planet. Common Sense of America says 'it's time to use our vote--and collect'!

So how do we save planet Earth? The environmentalist crusade is not the first step. The process of successfully unifying all nations in a legitimate partnership toward environmental stewardship must begin by removing the crush of poverty from the poorest citizens. Why?--Because it is those average and poor citizens who must force the necessary changes into their government through their vote. It is average Americans who must be provided a reason to expend the energy involved in changing their world. The only true authentic hope for The People, as they struggle to preserve their planet, is a radical shift away from the current archaic economic paradigm. This vision of an enlightened economy will inspire even the most apathetic citizen to adjust the way they perceive their own government, stand up, and demand real change.

The only thing that can improve an economy is putting more cash in the pockets of the people. To put it another way: The meek must inherit the earth! However, before they can inherit the earth they must reclaim their own economy. Yet, before they can gain control of their own economy, they must be taught how to take control of their own government. This process must happen soon because the not-so-meek are right on course to ruin the earth.

If we are to successfully empower the environmentalist mission, we must first design an economy that distributes our national wealth through everyday American lives. It's a fascinating and encouraging concept, isn't it? The first giant step toward long-range environmental survival must begin by doubling your income.

It begins by thinking differently about who owns the money. The age of poverty must end before an era of authentic environmental survival may begin. The new manifest destiny is economic--and we can prove it!

Break Old Patterns of Political Failure--or Fall Into Decline.

The Time frame.
On our watch.

During the very moment humanity finds that it is actually in possession of the tools needed for reform, we realize that we only have a very brief period of time in which to use them effectively. Common Sense of America has created a start-to-finish strategy to make use of those tools, and to use them in time.

Time frame United States:
With the chasm between rich and poor expanding further, and with both Government and commercial media dominated by the rich, the window through which it is possible to implement solutions for eradicating poverty is quickly closing.

Timeframe Global:
Accompanying the mass of new scientific data regarding global warming comes an important and shocking detail. Our atmosphere appears to have a theoretical 'breaking point' and we are nearly there. Once again, we have a small window of opportunity to become a global community that is truly united in its determination to establish an authentic planetary stewardship.

In order to succeed, a global partnership dedicated to the cause of legitimate planetary stewardship must be established in ways that will assure that it both persuades and thrives. This will require the legitimate participation of the elected officials, activists, and political theorists of all industrialized nations on Earth. The most important emphasis must be made on the word and the construct of "legitimate".

Washington's Dirty Little Secret.

Shall Separate Lobbyist from State.
Triumph or ruin for humanity? Decided right here.

Government For Sale.
Secrecy no longer necessary.

We have libraries, and bookstores, and videotape vaults full with the works of the greatest historians, scientists, and philosophers. Since the time of Lincoln, they have been telling us that the influence of our political leaders, and actions of our lawmakers, are up for sale to the highest bidder. And yet, with all the demonstrations, whistleblowers, investigative journalism, Congressional hearings, and campaign promises the game is still fixed; and firmly from the inside.

There is a crisis of legitimacy in our government. The Democratic and Republican Parties are both mired in the same schemes and abuses. Both are addicted to special-interest money and therefore, beholden to big business. The political process is successfully manipulated from within, and the lobbying industry can block virtually any bill or reform they wish. We are all learning to our shock and horror that the game is fixed from the inside!

The real issue is not about how to get the message to our elected officials. The message is already there. Governors, Congressmen, Senators, and Presidents have been tossing the ball of reform around for decades! The issue is what our elected representatives in Congress do with the message. And of course, we are all aware of the answer: Not enough.

The reason is now plain to see. Corporate America has discovered that unity is strength and is solidly united in its infiltration of our government. The host/parasite relationship between special-interests and our lawmakers must be broken.

As humanity stands on the edge of a future in peril, with each of us sharing in the understanding that there is little time left in which to cause adequate reforms, and recognizing that the lobbyist-politician liaison will over and over again block any significant reform legislation; we are faced with the undeniable necessity of bringing about the complete removal of corporate lobbyist and business-related pressure from government. Common Sense of America has the answer.

Ready to Look Into The REAL Future?--Here it is ...

If We Fail to Recover Present-Day America.
Glimpse the chilling result of apathy and political corruption.

We know from history that even the most seemingly indestructible empire can rapidly crumble. And we can see from careful observation that America is well into the beginning stages of that process.

Domestic America in 50 years: Urban sprawl is creeping unstoppably across the land. Solutions for skyrocketing unemployment exist only in the form of placating speeches written for compromised politicians. Wages remain pressed to the bottom limit, owing to the unrestrained influx of foreign labor. The rich are steadily becoming richer, and the gulf between rich and poor has become like a wall.

2100 AD America - Thousands of foreign gangs. By 2050, the population of the United States will be approaching half a billion. Travel through the nation will be more like moving country to country than city to city. Fully one-third of the population of America does not speak English and simply doesn't care to. Public education continues to drop as students divide themselves into nationality-zones. Racial tensions are among the highest in the world and communities have re-aligned along nationality-lines. The unified voice of The American People will be forever silenced through this eternally divided cultural composite.

The commercial media remains strangely silent on the enormity of the crisis of poverty in America. Marketing is a calculating presence in every corner of American life. Advertising flickers from every possible angle and in a myriad of languages. All hope of solving poverty will have moved forever out of reach. The dream of an America at peace within itself, will live on only in the minds of a few elderly people. There will still be Americans who cry out for reform. They will be rebuffed in a hundred languages, and will quickly slip back into apathetic obscurity.

As we arrive in the middle of the 21st century, the rich will still be getting richer and the poor will be trapped in an undeterred population surge. At least 95% of Americans will be locked in struggle within a society that is beyond any hope of economic or societal repair. The last of the federal lands have been opened up for logging, road building, and mining.

By 2050, C02 levels in our atmosphere will be double of what they are now. The climate will be getting steadily warmer. Tundra, permafrost, glaciers, and polar caps will be receding. At which point, Mother Nature's payback for centuries of abuse takes center stage; and the people of Earth try to make the best of it in a deteriorating ecological and sociological environment.

By the Tri-centennial, 20 billion human beings will numbly watch as waves of extinctions tear through the living web. Entering the year 2100, the U.S. Population reaches one billion. Youth gangs are vandalizing 20th-century graves ...

Our Broken Borders ~ The Sleeping Serpent.

2 million per year and rising. Going Where the Truth Leads Us.
Tragic certainty with mathematical efficiency.

Three generations and counting ... A small number of very elite companies stand to make vast fortunes when the population spirals out of control. The post 1970 political culture thinks of the American future purely in terms of corporate profits. An area three times the size of Britain was recently opened up for mining, drilling, logging, and road building. Our national sustainability is vanishing under an unprecedented wave of eager newcomers, deliberately encouraged by our corporate giants, and negligently enabled by our own elected politicians.

The population of the United States has increased by 100 million, since 1970. An estimated 60-70 million of those are from outside our borders. The Census Bureau projection for 2050 is 420 million. This does not include tens upon millions of illegal border violations. Due to current trends, in just a few decades fully one third of the population of America will be unable and unwilling to speak English. At which point, any reforms that require a united American voice: ending urban sprawl, eradicating poverty, preserving the environment, creating free education and healthcare; and most importantly removing lobbyists from government will move forever out of reach.

This issue, that is merely inconvenient today, is of undeniable urgency to our descendents. Let's not steal from future generations the pleasure of living in a united America. If we lose the battle to prevent the re-colonization of the United States, all hope for long-range reform will be lost with it.

This is the issue that speaks to the very sustainability of our nation. Regardless of where one stands on the issue of immigration, both legal and illegal, everyone will admit: You cannot solve economic injustice in another nation by amplifying it in this one. To turn a blind eye on the sudden arrival of millions of newcomers in the American job market is like kicking fifteen million unemployed Americans in the guts; not to mention the tens upon millions of America kids whom they are trying to feed.

It has taken 30 years for Americans to realize that we cannot solve economic hardship in other nations by amplifying economic hardship in this one. In a single generation, the America we all grew up loving will be erased under a population of over a hundred million non-English-speaking newcomers. This occurs while their own home nations will be enjoying growth and improvement. The purely stunning fact is that the Federal Government does not have anyone employed in regards to thinking about the issue. It is the scandal of our age!

We cannot trade away our future simply to make big business richer. Americans are now realizing that we may not have the right to keep the borders open

To fail here is to fail America forever.
It's just Common Sense.

Myths and Misconceptions.

Diversity is Strength.
It is not. Never has been.

This false phrase is spewed out by politicians and the commercial media to mask a corporate agenda that states an exploding population wave creates massive wealth for big business. Variety is the spice of life, but diversity is the essence of weakness. This is demonstrated in the most basic military precept: Divide and conquer.

America has grown strong through the irrepressible rumble of the English language. It was made rich and safe by both its natural resources and geographical location. Up to the advent of easy global travel, our nation has been kept safe from the most destructive diversity of all: Language diversity. The greatness of the American National Identity was made possible not simply from our racial composite, but from our united singular voice. Our national language is our common base of understanding. As we lose that common connective base, we lose the very purpose of democracy. Soon our American identity will exist only as echoes in advertising copy and placating political speeches--and in not one of a hundred new languages. If diversity was strength the other great nations would throw their national language and immigration laws to the wind. They don't.

Fact: Diversity is not strength. Diversity is weakness. Variety is the spice of life--but only in unity is there strength. Help keep America united.

The Thirty Year Dumbing-Down of America

The One True Conspiracy.
The rest don't even compare.

At present, the media is controlled by the same commercial forces that dominate our elected officials. These are corporate special-interests that sell products and services to the masses. Owing to the dedicated manipulation of special-interests, 98% of all American radio, print, cable, satellite, and broadcast media is now owned by 11 trans-national multi-billion dollar media conglomerates. Small communities of individuals, whose names you never hear, now hold the intellectual vitality of our children in their hands. The ramifications of this fact are earth shattering.

If we are to bequeath the planet with the twin benefits of being unspoiled as well as a just and compassionate human society, it is absolutely imperative that we create a political paradigm that recognizes the necessity of raising a new generation with a proactive desire to make the world a better place. In post 1970 America, we have produced a society that wants to do anything but. Those born several generations from today will look back on the consolidation of the media and recognize it as nothing short of a national catastrophe and a crime against humanity. To save the future from "Soylent Green" will require a fundamental shift in the media paradigm--and it will be easier than you might think!

The modern commercial media is the most powerful teaching tool in human history, and its wholesale abuse can be traced directly to the office of the 'programming executive'. This disproportionately tiny executive group must be replaced by an equally motivated yet, entirely unbiased guild whose members are in no way influenced by corporate commercial interests. It's simply changing the rules of the game.

If you want a better society,

The Point Where All Doubt Fades.
Peeling Back The Layers.
On a Conspiracy of Neglect.

For sale to the highest bidder. What has happened to America? The gulf between rich and poor is becoming like a wall. Neither major party nor the commercial media is willing to open up about the root causes. The Chairman's Council stepped back for a long and careful look. We identified the critical link among economics, information, education, societal unity, and the post-1970 distortion of America.

The negative aspects of the post-1970 shift in America are so extreme as to be easily described in terminology generally reserved for law enforcement. So let's examine the observable negative trends as we would if we were conducting a criminal investigation. Let's begin as a detective would, by peeling back the layers until we identify the beneficiary of the crisis. What we find in this case is conspiracy--of neglect.

To kill the conspiracy you must understand how its paradigm works. more»

A Future Full of Einsteins?--Yes.
It can be, because it must be

While reviewing patent applications, young college student, Albert Einstein was pondering the nature of light ...

People in the not-too-distant future must be raised from early childhood to develop minds that find fascination with the challenge of fostering the natural world as well as nurturing the betterment for mankind. A form of government, which provides an outlet for this vital type of intelligence, will be the only difference between bequeathing a "Star Trek" future and one guaranteed to resemble "Soylent Green". The ultimate necessity is to allow the emergence of a society filled with young 'Einsteins' who, while working in their ordinary day-to-day professions, are also pondering the possibilities of civilization. We can prove to anyone that this is a basic requirement for long-range planetary survival.

The current paradigm of human behavior is  guaranteeing the precise opposite. Don't let it happen. more»

The Importance of Activist Unity.

Piecemeal Measures or Sweeping Reforms?
The Answer is Clear.

The issue is not if our elected leadership has our message, they do. The issue is what they do with your message.

Many people settle for the view that the problems facing mankind comprise a series of individual problems to be addressed one at a time. They're wrong. Mankind's ability to create serious problems has far exceeded government's ability to solve them in the typical piecemeal fashion.

If we had only to address a single issue, with an uncomplicated bit of legislation; we could proceed in the usual piecemeal manner, but those days are gone. We now face an expanding list of environmental threats as well as an ominous rise in negative societal and humanitarian trends. The most troubling factor is the brief time frame in which to reverse them.

If we were to take the wise recommendations of the world's greatest scientists, from a multitude of disciplines; then assemble our legislative measures in piecemeal form to address every gathering threat, every negative trend, every dangerous chemical, and every example of political corruption; and then politely line up and jockey for the favor of a lobbyist dominated body of lawmakers, it would take centuries of scheduling and compromising to get them passed into law! And as we have all witnessed, the compromises required to earn a thumbs-up from the lobbying industry usually weaken environmental legislation beyond its lowest effective threshold.

The time has come for all activists, environmentalists, humanitarians,  visionaries, scientists; and ordinary democratic citizens to organize your issues into a library of bills, initiatives, acts, amendments, and enlightened goals for political and societal reform; and place them into an expansive legislative mandate.

Helping Americans to Vote
With their Common Sense.

We are entering an age when 'what we don't know' can hurt our great-great grandchildren. A false sense of security will cause our great lakes and oceans to be dead or dying within two centuries. The scientific data is there for all to see; and with so much at stake, there is simply no room for a political strata that does not know what it stands for, nor where it is going.

At present our government is for sale to the highest bidder. There is far too much potential for irreversible damage to the American quality of life. To continue to play into the two-party charade is to bequeath to our descendents a degraded society and a ruined environment. It is urgently needed that the election process go from a periodic concern, to the finish-line of an organized and proactive movement.

Let us choose not to leave the next generations a compromised political system. It is time for a new breed of American leadership. To accomplish this, Americans must be given a new way to perceive the vote--and a new 3rd party.
