The Common Sense National Political Party. |
|

The
realization of great things for humanity.
We, the members of the
Common Sense of America Party,
commit ourselves to re-form our political system. Common
Sense of America is dedicated to caring
for the Earth and our children by fostering an understanding and
appreciation of nature, community, and self. Together, we will
work to re-establish trust in our government by electing ethical
officials who are dedicated to fiscal responsibility, political
accountability, and legitimate global environmental stewardship.
Mission:
To continue to build our
party platform from the
reformist intent of the best of the best; To continue to expand
our party leadership into a united and focused council guided by the brightest of the
brightest; To eradicate poverty; To
develop new applications for national wealth: To address growing concerns for America's
future including population issues, political ethics, quality of education, environmental
protection, media integrity, and societal unity; To enhance public understanding
of the perils facing future generations; To
develop new national standards for childcare, education, media integrity, and
access to government; To open up a new era of continuing enrichment through involvement
for America's retiring generations; To
lay the groundwork for the six-hour workday;
To provide a deeper
understanding of our time-honored American culture. Party
Mandate Highlights: To promote the Separation of
Lobbyist and State, a historic bill that will serve as the first real blueprint for a comprehensive
national policy for curtailing the covert manipulation of political
process by special-interests. Plus: The Revenue Tap
Act, which will allow the
wealth of the nation to be poured back into the lives of average Americans; and
in doing so, eradicate poverty.
Our
vision:
To teach people what is rarely
given, a new way to perceive the possibilities of a democratic government if it
were turned to the service of the average man; To reach out with our message until there's a related
political awareness movement in every region, a mentor in every
neighborhood, a nature-lover in every family, and compassion for each
other and the Earth in every heart. more»

The Common
Sense World Party.
|
|
Helping the meek
to inherit the
earth, before the not-so-meek ruin it.
In the distant
future, a human being or animal will walk to the edge of an ocean.
The political decisions that are made in the next
thirty years, by ordinary people, will decide if that ocean is dead or
alive.
Why a
World Party?
The data is there for all to see. The atmosphere we breathe
and share with ten million other species--is changing.
Failure to get ahead of this curve will be rewarded with catastrophe upon catastrophe. Minimal climate changes can cause sweeping
extinctions and we are already witnessing the beginning of this process.
We have a moral obligation to future generations, thus we have little choice but to
unite on a global scale.
We
seek to explore, discover, and understand what
kind of global community we must become if we are to stop hurting not only the
environment, but also, each other. Placing special
emphasis on bringing the issue of global sustainability to the youth of our
world, for their children will fall
heir to the planetary environment that we leave behind. Mission:
To mobilize the world to save the world; Establish World Chapters (or a 'foothold' for Common Sense) in many nations;
To promote the attitude that we must 'get ahead of the
destruction curve', and address the root causes of environmental problems so
that there will never be ' the big disaster'; To nurture a support
among global lawmakers for sensible,
effective solutions to reduce greenhouse gas pollution nationwide; To provide a start-to-finish political strategy to ensure a sustainable
future through
cooperation and foresight; To encourage practices and promote the development and use of technologies that are most beneficial and least harmful to our environment; To send
a clear message that the days of denial about global warming are
over; To steadily improve the quality of our air, water, and
earth; And most important, to help people understand that there
isn't much time, perhaps a single generation to cause sweeping reforms within the
contemporary political
paradigm. more»

The American Activism Council.
|

The formal unification of the
American activist community.
We have a moral obligation to future generations, thus we have little choice but to
unite. The American Activism Council is
designed to re-form our political system in time to save another system--the
ecosystem. As we forge alliances with activists, community leaders, and
scientific organizations, we are discovering how this can be accomplished.
Membership in the Council is free. A council seat adds strength and legitimacy
to your own cause, and places your voice in a position of influence in the bold
new Common Sense of America Party.
Mission:
To bring together those who are
passionate about reform, in a nationwide party leadership council;
To provide formal unification of the greater activist community;
To place new measures into the national party platform; To
increase Internet traffic to sites of conscience; To harness the
wisdom and experience of retiring Americans; To build bridges of common purpose with other activist
organizations; To foster public outreach and educational awareness
programs; To emphasize diversity, quality, and excellence in all aspects
of our activities; To meaningfully engage groups that are traditionally
underrepresented; To encourage our members and friends across the
globe to join us in building a Common Sense
World Party. more»

 The
Millennium Mandate ~
A Ready-Made Blueprint
for Sweeping Reform.
The
time has arrived for all activists and 3rd Parties to assemble
their initiatives, acts, amendments, measures, and bills. The Millennium Mandate
is a national library of
reformist intent built from the world's best and brightest
political, environmental, and
humanitarian movements. It is a comprehensive package of
reforms to be passed into law as our candidates achieve a voting majority. The most important piece of environmental
legislation to reach the Congress in generations; and will help shape
the debate over climate, economy, environment, and society for years to
come.
Mission:
To promote the philosophy that we must learn to manage our impacts on
the planet with rational intent; To outline an alternative lens through which to view the
emerging and unprecedented opportunities, challenges, and dangers
of our modern era; Synthesizing data from space missions, observation of the Earth,
and active social and scientific research; To bring together researchers and bridge discipline barriers, much as the new
information age is bridging cultural and geopolitical barriers; To teach that human activity now constitutes the major
governable force on Earth, as well as why we must shift the paradigm of
human behavior. more»

The World Council Wilderness Program. |

 Proposal
~The World
Council Wilderness.
A mission advocating the protection and wise utilization
of our forests, streams, lakes, and oceans through research,
relaxation, and education.
The World Council Wilderness's concept is
dedicated to caring for the Earth and our children by fostering
understanding and appreciation of nature, community, and self. Through
dynamic programs that combine ancient and modern ecological
wisdom, we empower people of all ages to become stewards, mentors,
and leaders. Our
mentoring approach honors individuality, encourages
self-sufficiency in learning, and awakens a kinship with nature as
it trains youth and adults to blend the awareness of a native
tracker with the knowledge of a wildlife biologist. Our programs
draw on traditions from indigenous cultures world-wide,
emphasizing nature as a teacher; routines to enhance awareness,
storytelling, self-motivated learning, and tracking as an
interpretive tool. Well, this is the dream. It's secret location
is known to us. All we need is funding and of course; thoughtful, creative, and
caring citizens to enjoy its spaces.
Mission: To bond a commitment to wildlife; To promote a greater
understanding and respect for wildlife through educating
concerned people; To gain a better understanding
of the environment as a whole; To make known the economic
value of wildlife on local, county, and State levels; To share the knowledge gained
from wildlife experiences with interested people or
rehabilitators; To implement research and
management programs for the survival of wildlife; To inspire community
participation in the long-term stewardship of wildlife's
habitat; To support the use of monitoring
data by citizens in local and regional conservation planning; To promote
city planning that will preserve an integrated network of natural areas; To preserve our natural heritage, and to accommodate compatible human use of natural areas. We
strive to reduce human impact,
and to improve the quality of the environment for both wildlife
and people, through educational web features and environmental
awareness programs.
